Tiffany has served on boards and commissions across Asheville for over 15 years, helping shape policy, preserve culture, and strengthen community institutions. Her leadership bridges government, nonprofit work, and grassroots organizing to ensure systems reflect the people they serve.

Asheville City Parks & Recreation Advisory Board

Advises the City of Asheville on parks, recreation programming, and public space planning to improve quality of life and equitable access to green spaces.

Preserves, protects, and promotes African American history, culture, and heritage throughout Asheville-Buncombe County

Playing Drum Perspective

Human Relations Commission of Asheville-Buncombe County

Works to address discrimination, promote equity, and strengthen relationships across diverse communities in Asheville and Buncombe County.

Community Reparations of Asheville Buncombe County

The members of the Reparations Commission were appointed by Asheville City Council on March 8, 2022, and the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners on March 15, 2022. The Reparations Commission is empowered to make short-, medium-, and long-term recommendations that will make significant progress toward repairing the damage caused by public and private systemic racism.

Green Opportunities (GO) offers a combination of technical training, life skills training, industry-recognized credentials, and personalized support services to unemployed and under-employed residents of Asheville and Buncombe County

in the Schools & Community

The mission of Asheville Writers in the Schools and Community (AWITSC) is to ignite social change through the power of arts, culture and restorative self‐expression. The programs prioritize work with communities of color who are experiencing poverty, and provide access to artist mentors of color in the literary, visual, media and performing arts.
